Basalt Fiber Tape-3620 is a woven tape manufactured from basalt fiber yarn which is a high-temperature insulation and reinforcement material made from continuous volcanic rock fibers, designed for demanding industrial and thermal applications. Commonly used as exhaust wrap, fireproofing tape, and composite reinforcement, basalt fiber tape delivers superior tensile strength, excellent chemical resistance, and continuous heat resistance often exceeding 1,000°F. Compared to fiberglass alternatives, Minseal basalt fiber tape offers improved durability, lower brittleness, and longer service life in extreme environments. Its non-combustible and corrosion-resistant properties make basalt fiber tape ideal for automotive, aerospace, marine, and construction projects where reliable thermal protection and structural reinforcement are essential.

SiO2 45–52, Al2O314 % or more, FeO 5–14%, MgO 5-12%, CaO 10%,
Alkalis(Na2O + K2O) 2-5%, TiO2 0.5–2.0%

Gasket, Insulation and protective wrapping for furnace, heating devices, hot pipes, steam tracer lines,
automotives etc., especially good option for exhaust insulation.
