CeraTex® Ceramic Fiber Cloth is a high temperature woven fabric designed for dependable thermal insulation in demanding industrial applications. Made from high purity alumino-silicate ceramic fiber and reinforced with durable fiberglass filament, with an optional alloy steel wire insert for added strength, this ceramic fiber cloth delivers both flexibility and mechanical durability. In addition, it is white and odorless, making it clean and easy to handle during installation. Because it withstands continuous temperatures up to 2300°F, CeraTex® Ceramic Fiber Cloth is ideal for use in heat shields, furnace curtains, expansion joints, welding protection, and other high heat environments. As a result, this high temperature insulation fabric helps reduce heat loss, improve energy efficiency, and protect equipment and personnel in industrial settings.

  • Low thermal conductivity, low heat storage, high temperature stable, thermal shock resistant
  • Fire and flame proof
  • Chemical resistant, compatible with most corrosive chemicals, commonly used acid and alkali (exceptions are hydrofluoric, phosphoric acids and concentrated alkalies)
  • Lightweight, woven texture with excellent handling strength

**De-organic Heat-Cleaning

CeraTex 3110HTW Ceramic Fiber Cloth, Heat TreatedThis product contains organic binder material (for weaving purposes only) which will burn at relatively lower temperatures and generate smoke.  Product application properties are maintained during this normal de-organic heat-cleaning process, and the color will be restored back to white after organic binder combustion.  This product should be heat treated first before use in a smoke-prohibitive environment. An alternative option you can choose, is our Style 3110HTW Heat-Treated Cloth.
