Applications – Automotive

Fluid sealing is an important part of the successful operation of an automotive engine. Gaskets are required anywhere fluid or gas must be contained. Automotive manufacturers have moved away from rubber gaskets given the discovery of more advanced materials. One of these materials is flexible graphite, which has the desired properties of being compressible while being resistant to high temperatures and harsh non-oxidizing chemicals.
